I‘m the author of two mystery series.
The Jane Stuart and Winky mysteries feature literary agent Jane Stuart and Winky, her tortoiseshell cat with a nose for murder. Books in this series include Missing Marlene, Hanging Hannah, Stabbing Stephanie, Icing Ivy, Toasting Tina, and Crushing Crystal.
My current series, the Hidden Manhattan mysteries, includes Death is Disposable and Evil Justice. This series features Anna Winthrop, a garage supervisor for the New York Sanitation Department.
I am also an independent literary agent specializing in fiction. Previously, I was a book editor at several publishing houses.
I am the author of The Marshall Plan® writing guides, recently released in software form, as well as a nonfiction book about nonverbal communication.
I live in Pine Brook, New Jersey, 30 miles west of Manhattan, with my wife, Martha Jewett, a literary agent and consultant, and our two sons.
